New year New You! Easy ways to get moving.

Well the New Year has arrived and you are sitting down thinking about how you are going to make this year the best by getting fit.
You can do this by making your health your number one priority to start each and every day. No more excuses, no more putting yourself on the back burner while you take care of everyone else.
This is your year!
Begin making the New you!
1. simple walking
You can start by walking 15 minutes everyday, just get moving, use those legs.
Have a different destination and walk there. Take a different route around the block. Too easy!
Start 15 minutes then increase time and distance 3-4 times a week.
Enjoy the scenery and the fresh air!

2. Resistance training
What is wonderful about this type of training is that you can do it anywhere.
All you need is a little space and a piece of tubing to help develop strength and flexibility and gain a little rev up metabolism in the process. There are different strengths of tubing that you can try out and the price of tubing is very reasonable and affordable.
when you train with tubing you should be able to perform one set of 8-12 repetitions. If you are a more advanced exerciser 12-20 repetitions will give you that added edge to your performance. During the resistance training , remember to allow your muscles to go through the full range of motion.
